NHIS dependant: property ceiling for siblings

₩180,000,000KRW, combined property tax assessment base

Siblings sit under a separate and much tighter property ceiling than spouses and lineal relatives, which is easy to miss because everything else about the test reads the same. Sibling eligibility is already narrow — confined to defined age, disability and veteran categories — so applying the general property figure to it produces an answer that is wrong twice over.

Applies where the prospective dependant is a sibling, in place of the general ceiling. Sibling dependants are also limited to defined categories — broadly those under 30, those 65 or over, persons with disabilities, and certain veterans with service-related injuries — and must still satisfy the support and income conditions.
