Monthly rent tax credit: annual rent ceiling
Recorded apart from the rate because the two move independently and because the cap is what makes the credit shrink in relative terms as rent rises. Above roughly ₩833,000 a month the credit stops growing, so for an expensive lease it becomes a fixed amount rather than a percentage — which changes how it behaves in a multi-year model.

What we have recorded
- 2026-10-11₩10,000,000 of annual rent
Rent above the ceiling attracts no further credit. At the 17% rate the maximum credit is therefore ₩1,700,000 a year and at 15% it is ₩1,500,000 — worth entering as a capped amount in any cost model rather than as a percentage of whatever rent is actually paid.
