Limited-transaction account: daily limit for electronic banking
The limit that actually binds, because a business pays through electronic banking rather than at a counter. It sits a third of the way down from the counter limit, which means the workaround for a single large payment is a trip to the branch — and that is the whole design.

What we have recorded
- 2026-10-07₩1,000,000 per day
ATM withdrawals run on their own separate daily limit at the same ₩1,000,000 level. Both were raised from May 2024 for ordinary banks; internet-only banks may set different figures. Lifting the restriction is a customer due diligence and transaction-purpose review, not a document that triggers it automatically.
Financial Services Commission — 2024 raise to limited-transaction account limits
One reading so far. This becomes a history the first time the figure moves while we are watching — which is the part that cannot be reconstructed later.
