Non-covered medical services with prices published by institution
The existence of this disclosure is the answer to the question people actually ask — what will an MRI cost me — and it is a better answer than any multiplier. Prices for the same item differ between institutions, which is precisely why they are published per institution rather than as a schedule. The count is worth tracking because the list has been expanding: the wider it gets, the more of a self-paying patient's bill can be checked in advance rather than discovered at the desk.

What we have recorded
- 2026-01-01753 items
Prices are published per medical institution, and the variation between institutions for the same item is the point of the exercise. Covers items such as imaging, ultrasound, vaccinations and various tests and procedures. It does not cover the cost of covered services billed to an uninsured patient, which is a different question with no equivalent public schedule.

One reading so far. This becomes a history the first time the figure moves while we are watching — which is the part that cannot be reconstructed later.
