Global ATM: overseas card networks accepted
The only part of Korean ATM access that is published as a stable list rather than varying machine by machine. Everything travellers actually want to know — the operator's fee, the per-transaction limit, the opening hours — differs by operator, model and location and has no national figure, so the network list is the one thing worth committing to a record. It is also the practical first filter: read the logos on the machine, not the name of the bank above it.

What we have recorded
- 2026-09-13Mastercard, Maestro, Cirrus, Visa, PLUS, JCB, UnionPay
The networks Hana Bank lists for its Global ATM service. Other banks publish their own lists and the overlap is high but not guaranteed. A logo on the machine does not by itself mean your particular card will be approved: the issuer can have overseas cash withdrawal disabled, and the card product and the ATM network still have to be compatible.
