Korea Minimum Wage & Weekly Holiday Calculator
Korea's lawful monthly minimum is not the hourly rate times the hours you work. A 40-hour week carries eight hours of paid weekly holiday, which is how ₩10,320 an hour becomes ₩2,156,880 a month on a 209-hour basis. Enter your contractual hours to see the same arithmetic for your own contract — and test a monthly salary against it.

Monthly conversion hours are rounded to the nearest whole hour, as the official notice does — 48 x 4.345 = 208.56, published as 209. A monthly salary is tested by dividing by the conversion hours above, not by hours actually worked. This model assumes no overtime, night or holiday premiums and no allowances excluded from the minimum wage comparison; a real check needs the contract and the payslip.
